Wuxi University, formerly known as Binjiang College of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, was founded in May 2002. It is a public undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education, managed by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, organized by Wuxi Municipal Government and supported by Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology.Adhering to the direction of socialist education, the university adheres to the educational philosophy of “OpenDevelopment,CoordinatedDevelopment andCharacteristicDevelopment”, and has established a “trinity” educational system of Wuxi University, Wuxi Graduate School and Wuxi Institute.

Located in No. 333, Xishan Avenue, Wuxi, Wuxi University is adjacent to the core area of the CBD in Xidong New Urban Area, Wuxi East Railway Station and Sunan Shuofang International Airport. Jinkui Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Education Center has been successfully approved as Provincial Construction of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Education Center for College Students. Jiangsu cyberspace security training base has been built as the first in Jiangsu Province, the first domestic prefecture-level city set of teaching and training, emergency exercises, popularization of science and technology as a comprehensive, demonstration, application of cyberspace security training base.
